Frankly my dear, I want hot sauce

Frank's Original Red Hot sauce. Where can I find it in the UK?

Every day I crave for anything dipped/basted/smothered with this stuff, but the bottle I brought back from NY has run out and I want.... nay, need more.

Is there anywhere in the UK that sells this stuff off the shelf? If not, is there anywhere online that has it for a reasonable price/bottle size? I've found a couple of places online (chilefoundry, americansweets.co.uk), but they don't seem too impressive.

Is it worth buying it off amazon.com or somewhere else from the US?

I hope someone knows, or there'll be a spate of 'incidents' at TGI Fridays across the country.

Buffalo Foods has it and several other local varieties. I don't see international shipping as an option on their site yet but email "Ron" (ron@buffalofoods.com).

I got a couple bottles in a little grocery in Brockley, believe it or not. It was kind of near New Cross Road and not that far from the train station. They were cheap. But, they were past their expiration date and looked a little pale. Sorry I can't give more precise directions, it's been a couple of years.

I love Frank's.

If you can't find it you could always ask some mefite yankee to pick you up a gallon jug and send it to you. The shipping costs would suck, but how cool would it be to have a gallon jug of Frank's?

Funny, I literally just got my massive bottle of Frank's shipped to me two weeks ago. I ordered it online and it only cost about £10. I made the best buffalo chicken pizza with it! I will find you the web site I used.

Here you go.

Although I now see that you've already found this site. It will be more than you pay back in the States, but I suspect you may have a difficult time finding American foods for cheap here and it probably costs just as much to have them shipped over. I order several of my fave US foods online and they are more dear than at home but I've made the decision to pay for certain things because I just cannot find something comparable here. Good luck.

These guys don't carry regular Franks, just the Xtra Hot, but you could dilute a little. They DO carry Crystal, which you might want to give a try. It's fairly comparable to Franks, without the 'thin, bitter' taste you might associate with Tabasco.
