Doctor/Allergist/Dentist/Mental Health Person recommendations in the "Boston area"

I need recommendations on a regular doctor to go to when I get sick (hopefully one who knows something about asthma). I also should see an allergist because I have recently developed allergies in the last 2 years and while it is usually manageable I'd like to know if there is something I could do. I also need a dentist (I have avoided the dentist for 1 year now b/c I had a wisdom tooth out and it was so painful - I was then told then the others would have to come out eventually and I have never been back, I have never had a cavity); Finally I would like a "mental health professional" to talk to about family situations and anxiety, specificaly someone who knows about adult child of alcoholics and the like. I prefer doctors that have a more natural method, but knowledgable about all methods, aren't suspicious of vitamins or herbs and are willing to take the time to answer questions and give reasonings. I live in Reading, north of Boston and work in the financial district in Boston so doctors near either location would be convient. Thank you.

Best answer: Check out the Marino Center for Progressive Health. I have a couple of friends who have gone there and been happy. As for a dentist, I'm always surprised to recommend Gentle Dental, but after four dentists in the area, they are by far my favorite. No high-pressure sales, friendly techs and dentists, and they did good work on some tissue grafts for me. Not sure how the quality varies from location to location, though.

Well, all my drs are in Burlington, MA, which is pretty close to Reading.

Check out Lahey clinic in Burlington ... all my doctors are there, and once you're a patient, everything goes very quickly and smoothly when you need tests done or to see specialists. They also have an urgent care clinic in the evenings & weekends which is really convenient. They also have a mental health department with some really great psychologists, group counseling sessions, etc.

As for a dentist, I like Burlington Family Dental.

Response by poster: Thank you - something like the Marino Center is exactly what I am looking for. Its a little out of the way, but it sounds great. Thanks!
