<title>Question: Shark overfishing leading to stingray population boom?</title>
		<link>http://ask.metafilter.com/74016/Shark-overfishing-leading-to-stingray-population-boom</link>
<description>What dying bay/estuary system am I thinking of? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; A few months ago I read a story about a bay on the East coast where the scallop and seafood industry was hurting bad because of an overpopulation of stingrays, due to the overfishing of sharks, stingrays&apos; main predators. What bay is it?</description>
