I'm looking for Laurie Zimmer info

I recently saw Assault on Precinct 13 again and was smitten for some inexplicable reason by actress Laurie Zimmer who played the character Leigh.
Anyway she disappeared from acting and director Charlotte Szlovak made a documentary called Do You Remember Laurie Zimmer? which is about looking for here in L.A. I have been unable to find out what happens in the film Do you Remember.... or what happened from any other source. Anyone remember her or know where she is. I am prepared for the mundande truth.
