Tracking Personal Info

I'm looking for a good PIM, to keep track of contacts and upcoming homework assignments I need to do. Preferably something free. Any suggestions of a good products for Windows?

i have been testing out aethera from thekompany to use at my work along with the kolab server. so far, everything about aethera is great. also, mozilla has an email client along with a calendar, but aethera is really more of a pim than mozilla.
