Trying to remember a web site from some time back. Guy had pictures of some of the most beautiful places on the Planet. The pics included himself, back to camera, and bare-assed. Little help?

Thanks androse. Close, but no cigar. Kind of the same premise, but the site I saw was of sights quite desolate, I'm thinking Tibet..and so on. This guy wasn't mooning, he just had nothing on from the waste down. It was hilarious, yet in many ways, very profound, given the scenery.

Tour De Butt - there are a few references to it with pictures (here) but the site appears to have gone the way of his pants.

Even closer, but not quite what I remember. The pictures I saw were of some guy naked from the waste down...usually had a sweater or a jacket on. No dramatics (arms outstretched...), looked as though he was tourist, taking in the vistas. This was from the mid/late 80s. Thanks to both of you!

I've been known to do this. Death Valley, Wilpena Pound, and Devil's Peak. As far as being demented goes, jayder, it's not your bare arse that you're memorialising. I find that it's actually quite powerful to be standing naked in front of an amazing landscape.
