EntourageFilter: Zombie rules gone but not dead

My co-worker (at my instruction) created a rule in Entourage to move a particular piece of email to the deleted folder. Now all of his mail is going directly to the delete folder, but the rule is not the "rules" list. Any ideas how to stop it?

He uses a switcher to switch between his PC and his Mac, and also gets email on his blackberry. All locations are showing his new mail in the deleted area.

I feel bad because I was trying to make his life easier, and instead I've upset his delicate email ecosystem.

Are you sure you're looking in the proper RULES tab? In my version of Entourage there are six different tabs; Mail(POP), Mail(IMAP), Mail(Hotmail),Mail(Exchange),News,Outgoing. If he created the rule in any of the others aside from the default tab (Mail-POP), then it will appear to be empty...

Yeah, they are all empty. I fear that I've caused another Entourage tragedy for him.

Have you checked the Mailing List Manager (Tools menu)?
