Lesbian Feminist Strip Clubs?

Where can I find a lesbian feminist strip club? Do they exist?

I know the Lusty Lady in SF is a feminist strip club - I'm looking for something along these lines, but also for lesbians.

Do you mean geared towards lesbians? Because I have been to strip-clubs not geared towards lesbians and have enjoyed myself nonetheless.

What makes the Lusty Lady Feminist? (Socialist tendencies yes, but I'm not sure about the feminist part)

The Egyptian Club in Portland, Or on SE Division. Lesbians, strippers, feminists.

Actually, if the club qualified as a private club under then it could legally exclude men. For instance, Augusta National (the golf club) has never had a woman member and, according to its current president, never will.

Jedicus, if it was a private club, the OP wouldn't be permitted in either.

I fully agree that it would be extremely bad business sense to exclude men from a strip club. Why would any business deliberately turn away 98% of its potential customer base?

I dated a bisexual woman a few years ago. She showed me a freebie magazine, similar to the Village Voice, Time Out New York, L Magazine, etc., which focused on lesbian events and was distributed in lesbian bars.

I suspect that any such event would be listed in your community's version of that little magazine, not in mainstream publications. So hit the bars and see what's out there.

Well the membership policy might be such that there is very very little burden on the OP to become a member. Many establishments in Utah for example use the private club scheme to bypass some of that state's regulations of a public bar.

Mod note: a few comments removed -- if you want to interject your comments about lesbian strip clubs as a good economic model take it to metatalk, this is a straightforward question]
