Video cards and TVs as monitor

I just picked up a second monitor and am running in dual-monitor mode, but my video card also has a VIVO tv-out port which I connect to my TV. Are there video players like BSPlayer/vlc that will output to the TV, without having to swap it back in as a "secondary" monitor?

Thing is, your video card, despite having three different outputs, probably doesn't like doing more than two things at once. I imagine you have the latest drivers for your card. If it's an nVidia number, like mine, you're probably stuck having to swap it in and out, since your card won't go three ways at once.
