Know how to get cheap State Fair of Texas tickets?
I was thinking of heading down to the Fair this weekend to snap some photos. The official site says tickets are $14 ($12.50 if bought in advance at Kroger), plus $10 for parking. Seems kind of steep, so I thought I'd see if anybody here knows of anyway to get them cheaper, either by buying them at a certain place, bringing a can of Dr. Pepper, or something like that. Thanks.

Total shot in the dark, but Monday is Fair Day and kids get the day off from school and free tickets (or they did when I was there). Know any kids who hate the fair?

We parked in a different lot for $5.00. Not official State Fair of Texas parking, but it was monitored by attendants and cameras, and didn't feel shady at all. You can also ride the DART on Saturdays and Sundays.
You get off at Pearl and ride a shuttle to the entrance for 5.00, plus you get a coupon for 2.00 off admission.
