I will not make a pun on the word "gall", I will not make a pun...

I'm trying to buy a large hot water dispenser for tea, but I don't undertsand the term "stainless steel gall"

What is a stainless steel "gall"? It notes on some of them that they have "stainless steel gall". I want a stainless steel inner liner, not plastic, and this is what shows up in the search. What is a "gall"?

I bet it's "wall" instead of "gall", in reference to a stainless steel inner wall - check out the illustration on this model from Zojirushi.

PS: These water boiler things are awesome. I totally miss mine.

Seconding mdonley, I miss the one we had in Boston (Indonesian housemates = lots of tea and such). Ours definitely had a stainless steel liner, and was the high end Zojirushi model, so chances are it's a typo!

hate to make a serious at the expense of your pun, but I think it •is• a tea ball. You. Split it in half', add tea, drop in cup, pour boiling water over the same, and Bob's your Uncle
