Question: Medical recommendations in Philly Main Line

Looking for a basket of doctor/dentist/optical recommendations in Philly's main line.

I'm a very-healthy early-20s male living in Bryn Mawr, but my crazily competent immune system keeps me from being as good about regular checkups as I should be, and now that I'm in the working world instead of college, I need to take charge of my own health.

I need:

A GP (used to see a pediatrician once a year; never bothered getting another because that's the only time I ever see a doctor)

A dentist

An... opthamologist, I think? I'm nearsighted and astigmatic and could use a new prescription, basically.

Recommendations? I'm on United Healthcare, fwiw.

Hm. A belated googling implies I want an optometrist rather than an opthamologist per se.

I'm fairly new to the area, myself. I can recommend my new GP, Dr. Lucy Hornstein (610-983-9299). She's located in Valley Forge, about mid-way between Valley Forge park and Phoenixville. That's a bit of a drive from Bryn Mawr, but not too bad.
For an eye doc, I was not impressed with the one place I've been to, Main Line Eye Specialists (610-687-6888) located near downtown Wayne. The doctor was good, no complaints there, but the frames were very low quality, and they didn't fit them well. They're good for the exam, but buy your frames elsewhere.

I grew up on the Main Line and went to an awesome GP and equally awesome dentist for many years. Unfortunately for you, the GP moved to Reading, but the dentist remains. His name is David Leidy, and his office is just outside downtown Wayne. He's a super nice guy, I can't recommend him enough.

Dentist: Dr Sander White is in Broomall & is great.

Dentist: Dr. Jack Fitzgerald in Chesterbrook Dental Associates in Devon. I was in his chair just hours ago and he's singlehandedly changed my entire attitude about going to the dentist.

For GP, I recommend Susan Sandler, 121 Coulter Ave #102
Ardmore PA 19003. Though I'm not entirely sure if she's taking new patients.
