Red Dawn Russian Style

Are there any movies that match the campiness of Red Dawn from Russia?

I was recently discussing the movie Red Dawn with friends and we were curious if Russia created any films that have cheesy action centered around the United States invading. Other countries will work but we would primarily like to know about Russian films in particular. Thanks!

Not exactly, but close. Totally randomly, I met this Swedish guy who did a thesis or something about Communist cowboy movies that Russia filmed in Cuba, in Czech. Except with Communist themes, like the hero sacrificing himself to save the village, that kind of stuff. (This topic is probably ripe for a front page post)

Here's an Amazon.de site that lists some, but it's in German.
