Wifi in Tenerife?

Wireless broadband in Tenerife: My boss is heading to Tenerife on Saturday and "wants broadband on his laptop". Are there any off-the-shelf providers on the island that will provide a plug and play device for him? He's staying in an apartment complex with no wifi.

Response by poster: In particular, I'm looking for one of those 'broadband in a box' type devices. Thanks :)

One of those new 3G USB things bought in your local 3 store will work, but the roaming charges will be uncheap.

uncheap as in 15 € per transferred MB

There will be plenty of locutorios on the island which might be the more reasonable option. When I was in Lanzarote last year and the Principe showed up with his new son at their villa, the paparazzi overwhelmed all the locutorios to upload their photos to the world.

"uncheap as in 15 € per transferred MB"

Or €75 for 100Mb, good for a month, if you're using Vodafone 3G in Ireland and connect to Vodafone there as well. €5/MB when that runs out of allowance.
