Help me get Tribes 2 working

So tribes2 has been released for free, but apparently FilePlanet only got a set number of keys and is now out. Is there any other way, besides buying the magazine, to get a legit key? We'd like to play it at my next LAN party...

FilePlanet should be getting more soon, but you shouldn't need a legit key to play LAN. If you *cough* find a keygen *cough* you can just use keys from that. You won't be able to play online, but you should be able to play. Actually, now that I come to think of it, Tribes 2 didn't even ask me for a key until I actually went online. I could be wrong though, so test it out pre-LAN.

You'll need to do a bunch of signup crap, but then they'll give out a key. This is the URL that's supposed to be used by people who bought the relevant issue of CGW.

Sweet! Thanks, aramaic. Now I just need to get a copy of the download, ... even tried the backdoors into fileplanet and they've removed the files. :-P

So, anyone have any advice for someone completely new to the game? Mucking about in the game has only left me overwhelmed with everything.
