Bachelorette party in Savannah, GA! Bar & restaurant recommendations?

I am going to Savannah tomorrow with 2 other girls to celebrate my wedding next weekend and we're looking for some suggestions on where to hang out as none of us have spent any time down there. We're staying through Sunday morning at the Doubletree downtown, so we'd like suggestions that are walkable.

We're in our late 20's, pretty casual, like to dance, enjoy good cover bands, but looking to avoid outrageous cover charges and snooty exclusive and/sketchy places.

Restaurant suggestions would be welcomed too, as we're going to have to eat sometime between the rum!

Corleone's in Savannah would be a great place for casual, good Italian food and walkable. It also has a full bar. I am a big fan of Jen's and Friends Martini bar for drinks. If you are looking for dancing the best place to go is Club One, although it is a gay club.

Best answer: I don't know if it's possible, but I think it would be a blast to do it at Paula Deen's restaurant, The Lady and Sons. Make it a night of fun and gluttony with totally unhealthy-yet-delicious Southern food.

Savannah Resident here.

Breakfast at Clary's Cafe on Abercorn or J. Christphers

Naturally, there's Riverstreet, where you can find all sorts of bars.

Here's a list of noteworthy shows this week
and here's a general list. I recommend going to the Jinx and seeing Supherhorse on Saturday night.

B&D burgers on Broughton do good burgers, while Saigon on Broughton St. does good Thai.

Best answer: Also, look under the Savannah tag for stuff to do.

If partying, be careful of the west end of Broughton St or a club called Frozen Paradise. It can be a bit rougher.

City Market should make a good spot to hand, several bars/clubs/restaurants are there or near there like The Bar Bar, Wild Wings, Jinx, Molly MacPhersons, Vinnie Van Go Gos.

Also there latin dancing at The Tropicana, which can be fun.

Express Cafe on Barnard St (downtown, near City Market) is also good for breakfast/brunch.

If you feel like driving head out to Tybee Beach and eat at Fanies on the beach, Crabshack or Tubby's TankHouse (in Thunderbolt)

Enjoy!

Response by poster: I had a fabulous time in Savannah! We did Lady and Sons for lunch, and hit The Bar Bar, Wild Wings and Club 309. Photo evidence!
