Give me a quick rundown on accounting skills!

For some temp work, I have to take an accounting skills test tomorrow. I haven't accounted for over five years. Can anyone show me where to find a copy or share with me what I'm likely to find?

I'm no good with accounting, but recently I've been reading this, as I've been trying to learn gnucash. Gnucash is like quicken, but for linux, and it only works with double-entry accounting, so you pretty much need better-than-average accounting skills to use it.

p.s. are you a quonsar groupie?

If you were any good at basic accounting principles, I'd not worry about the test. I've taken plenty of those over the years without problems. (but I am expert at tests in general).

If you are temping, apply to all the agencies you can. Assignment availability and quality vary between agencies and between cities. If you need full-time work, try to avoid short assignments, especially on Fridays and Mondays. These get in the way of longer assignments.
