Reps in MS Word

I prepare a monthly English-Spanish glossary list for a magazine and I have to avoid repeating the same glossary items from month to month. I'd like some software which identifies repetitions across multiple MS Word documents. Does such software exist?

Best answer: Keep all the lists in one document, each list on a separate page. Make each glossary item an index entry and generate an index after you add a new glossary list. You'll be able to scan the index for items listed for multiple pages. (And you should check the index in the first place before you add a word you think you might have used before.)

Response by poster: Many thanks - the power of logical thought! And free. So there's really no software to do this, then?

If there is, it probably isn't worth your money.
