Spanish cell phone email to SMS gateway?

I have a Spanish mobile number to which I want to send text messages. Unfortunately, I have T-Mobile and the Spanish number can't receive messages from T-Mobile (only Cingular). Does
Movistar / Telefonica provide an email address for each mobile phone that acts as an email to SMS gateway, effectively allowing me to send text messages to this Spanish number?
T-Mobile, for example, has xxxxxxxxxx@tmomail.net.
I don't understand enough Spanish (plus, can't figure out how to search on it) to find this out myself.
