Name that country song that spans 20 years!

Question from a country music video, can you identify it?

In the video a man has a flat tire (Driver side rear?) and an arm in a cast. Another car pulls up and a child in the back seat (of the un-damaged car) watches as his dad changes the tire of the original car. When the two drivers shake hands the camera sees a tattoo on the injured mans arm. (It may have been raining the whole time).

Years later the boy is driving his own car and has [problems with the car]. A man stops and helps fix the car. As the two shake hands we see the same tattoo as before.

Bonus points for a link to a video, but the name is sufficient. Thanks MeFi!

OK, Sassyfras, you know darn well that isn't it. Chain of Love has a storyline about a guy (Joe) who changes a tire for a stranded older lady, then she ends up tipping his waitress wife over $90 (not knowing she's Joe's wife).

I was taking a chance that perhaps the OP didn't quite remember the storyline correctly. Hey, it included a flat tire, didn't it? still . . . Chain of Love was a great song (and video).

It was David Lee Murphy - The Road You Leave Behind. That killed me all day yesterday, I couldn't even remember the lyrics... Then walking down the hall last night I started hearing the lyrics in my head....

I like Chain of Love, and Road You Leave Behind is great, too - I thought we'd find out that the old lady was the Navy guy's wife!

Plus, I appreciate the eye candy of David Lee Murphy, old pickup trucks, and old cars.
