Seattle breakfast places?

Seattleites! Now that I've moved to your beautiful city, I'm searching for breakfast places here that meet certain specific criteria...

My whole life I've been in constant quest for The Great Good Breakfast Place, one that:

a) opens early, preferably by 6 a.m. (including weekends) but certainly no later than 7;

b) has good coffee, and food selections that extend beyond pastries to include protein-based items;

c) is not crazy overpriced;

d) does not play loud annoying music (or, preferably, ANY music);

e) has reasonably available parking;

f) has wireless.

I'd found a couple of places meeting most of these in Minneapolis, but I am now back at square one and would very much appreciate any recommendations. Am flexible as to location, as long as it's within the city. Thanks for any suggestions!

What part of town are you in?

I think the both branches of Zoka (greenlake and u village) meet most of your criteria. Not sure if they open by 6.

I'm going to refer you to Kindall's pancake page. Check his reviews for a nice overview of breakfast in Seattle.

oh, wait, both kind of suck for parking, sorry.

Also, when you refer to "protein items" are you talking short order stuff, like eggs, bacon, etc, or do things like quiche and breakfast sandwiches count?

Mays in Phinney ridge is awesome, not sure about the parking or opening times though. I'd also suggest the portage bay cafe in the U district, the 5 Spot in Queen and the Blue Star in Wallingford.

Mae's in Phinney Ridge has bad food, but there is always plenty of on-street parking (on viewing suggestion from another poster). I'd recommend the egg place down the street first and as far as I know neither one of them has wi-fi.

Unfortunately that's a huge list of musts. I can't think of anything with (f) on the list that also covers everything else. I could name a ton of places, but I doubt you're going to find good/cheap/with parking/and with wi-fi all in one package. If you do though, be sure to let the rest of us know.

If you're okay with quiche and breakfast burritos as "protein", I would highly, highly recommend Cloud City Coffee It's a bit North of the Ravenna, which means they have parking, and they open at six a.m. They have the wifi, and no music, but they're usually bustling.

I never think to list coffee shops, because in my opinion they don't carry "real food", but I do think that a coffee shop might be your best bet around here. Parking is iffy unless you get sort of out of the core of the city.

From the Panera web site: Panera Bakery/Cafe, 401 NE Northgate Way, Seattle, WA 98125 [phone]. Not sure what time they open, but they have free wifi. Ours has some new breakfast items; don't know about this one.

No wi-fi, and parking is so-so, but Glo's in Cap Hill area is fabulous. Probably the best eggs benedict I've ever had in my life. I think they open early, but there's a line to get in on Sat and Sun, but only because the food's so incredible. A must.

You definitely, definitely, definitely need to check out the spot on Bainbridge Island that does an organic breakfast. I can't remember the name, but it is fabulous and is right on the corner as you go into town, on the left hand side.

The Breakfast in Seattle book was a great help on my last trip there.
