What are the best books/online sources for one to learn project finance. Specifically financial modelling (to be used at a job in construction industry - mostly road construction). Thanks.

This might have some useful parts. It discusses the finance of real estate development.

Project Finance, as it is presented in business school, is generally taught in an emerging markets context using a broad finance text (such as Higgins, or Brealy and Myers) and a handful of cases.

I'd suggest performing a web search for project finance (and international finance) professors at finance schools (Wharton, Columbia, Chicago, Stern), and calling them with a pile of humility. I'd guess that one in two will return your call or email.
