MetaMusic for private use?

I'm looking for some sort of web template / upload script that would act sort of like MetaMusic but on a private scale.

My band is being split up as college approaches, but we want to keep writing as a band while we're there. We've had some success over the summer with recording ideas we have and sending them around, but it's a pain to send the same idea to four different people, especially with AIM transfers being flukey and people not always being online. What we're looking for is a sort of Metamusic for private use thing; a template or script that we could put up on my website that would allow us to upload clips and leave notes about it. The only catch is that the MP3 needs to be downloadable too. Any ideas, Mefi?
