French Referendum

Does anyone happen to know when was the last referendum held in France (a national referendum, not a local one)? I've tried Google, but I probably didn't use the right keywords.

Neat site. Are parliament elections what you seek? I don't vote in France though, so I am not sure how to intepret this as "national" or not.
