Adding functionality to a static, html website?

I'd like to add a comments section to my website

..., and some kind of non-obtrusive rating system (like 1 to 5 stars). I'm not a code jockey, and my website is a simple html/css outfit with no backend, so it needs to be relatively easy to install, but configurable so it can fit with the look of the site. What are my options?

There's a nice CSS star rating code snippet here - http://komodomedia.com/blog/index.php/2007/01/20/css-star-rating-redux/

A great new service (I'm using it on my Into iSpace site) is Disqus. A similar new service is Intense Debate.
