Spanish nuance translation help needed. Topic is slighly NSFW and thus inside.

How would you translate "Aborto por aspiración"? I understand this as "abortion by aspiration" and am taking it to mean of free will/ sought about by the pregnant woman, but need to be sure I'm not missing something. The context is in a questionnaire handed out to women for a study regarding their access to abortion and their experiences getting it done.

Full line item:
2. Aborto por aspiración en una clínica o un consultorio

Best answer: I think aspiracion is being used as related to aspirate, not aspire. Ergo, abortion by vacuum.
