Searching for book preview publication

I'm hoping one of the many other librarians on AskMefi can help me track down a resource I'm looking for. It was a semi-annual publication with descriptions of upcoming books--usually there was one published seasonally (and/or in time for ALA), plus various special issues.

I swear it was Booklist putting these out, but their site doesn't have anything like these. They were downloadable as pdfs. I've tried other likely sites (LJ, PW, etc) but nothing is coming up.

I think all the books listed were fiction, with some children's/YA stuff as well. I'm drawing a complete blank--does anyone have any clue what I'm talking about? It's some huge common resource, I'm sure, but apparently all the other random stuff I know squished the answer out of my brain.

Best answer: Was it by any chance Kirkus's Special Editions? The web site is a bit wonky right now. I could see the PDF links using the link on the left vertical menu, but the link on the horizontal menu bar is 404.
