What are the best free sites for locating people and obtaining personal information on the 'net other than Zaba Search? Thanks!

Just saw this on reddit: if you know a name & address, progressive.com will tell you what vehicles they own (via DMV records). It worked on my name & address.

Some states, such as Wisconsin, allow you to access criminal records online (try searching for former NBA player Latrell Sprewell, who has a house in Milwaukee).

If you know something about their family or if they have an unusual last name, ancestry.com has a ton of stuff available online. But most it is from 1930 or earlier, except for some WWII records and Social Security Death Index records. And unless you're at a public library, you need a subscription to the site to see most of it.
