Long attention span time-wasting

Anyone know of a digg/reddit/mefi type of site that tracks entended magazine-type pieces like you might find in the nyt magazine or the new yorker? I really enjoy reading extended length, in-depth kinds of articles through the course of a day as opposed to surfing many smaller links or articles. Some kind of categorizing would be nice, also. Ideas?
I check aldaily...er... daily, but - be warned, it's a pretty conservative site.

This doesn't really answer your question, but if you wanted to take a slightly more long-term view, and have a bit more control, give Google Reader a go, then just look out for feed buttons on your favourite publications. I know the New Yorker has a feed of its articles, and a lot of other publications have them as well.
Then, each day you can just take a look through Google Reader to see what's been published, reading them whenever you feel like it.
Just an idea.
