I suspect that the flower picture is your "user picture." You can change it, or I believe remove it altogether (although I'm not 100% certain) in the Users pane of System Preferences.

Yep, it comes from the Address Book icon for your account, which by default is the icon you choose in SysPref. posted by cmiller at 1:40 PM on August 13, 2007
