Wholesale fruit in Boston?

Is there anywhere that sells wholesale (or at least large quantities of) fruit in the Boston area?

In November we want to buy a large amount of fruit to use in centerpieces. (Not sure quite how many pieces, will depend on the fruit. But perhaps 10-15 tables worth of centerpieces.) Pomegranates would be ideal. Something else seasonal would be good too. Is there anywhere in the Boston area that would sell a large quantity of fruit at a discount off supermarket prices, would deliver to Cambridge, and would be able to set this up in advance? Or some subset of the above criteria would work too.

I would go talk to the vendors down at Haymarket.

Russo's, in Watertown, [previously] does catering... though centerpieces aren't listed on their standard fare, they may be able to work with you. Their prices are often lower than the average supermarket, often with above-average quality. Delivery seems to be available.

Second Russo's. Also, Wilson Farm in Lexington may be helpful.
Or try to implore a florist to help direct you - or someone at the Flower Exchange.

The Chelsea Markets are across the harbor from Boston proper, and is the place for wholesale fruits and veggies. You may need to hook up with a local merchant or food-coop to gain access.

I used to buy crates of vegetables and fruit for my co-op house from Waltham Fruit Company. They have a warehouse in the Fresh Pond area of Cambridge. You just pull up your vehicle, walk through the warehouse with a rep, and pick out what you want. It's probably not as cheap as the Chelsea Markets, but depending on where you are it might be a lot more convenient.
