Firefox images problem

Why is Firefox suddenly making all embedded images slightly larger?

Using Firefox 2.0.0.6 on a PC. All of a sudden all web graphics are slightly bigger, maybe 10%. It's not a big deal but it is annoying because it is screwing with the layout of all the sites I visit. What's going on here?

Best answer: I've found screwy, undocumented effects with my scroll wheel on my mouse - if I push it to one side (there *are* supposed to be custom buttons there) and then roll the wheel, the text will change sizes. Perhaps the same happened to you only with images.

Best answer: Firefox's normal zoom features don't affect images. Do you have any exensions or user stylesheets installed?

Is it possible the text size changed ("View" menu - "Text size")? That would make everything except images smaller, which would be similar to making images larger.

Response by poster: notsnot: I tried right clicking on some images and scrolling, and it did shrink them back down to normal size, but unless I select every image individually and shrink it down, all the rest still appear slightly larger.

So, I checked "View" as mbrubeck suggested. Text Size was the same, but Image Zoom was set to 120%. I've put it back to 100% and everything seems normal now. Thanks!

Image Zoom is an extension, BTW.
