Help me have a lovely summer in the city of lights!

Help me find an English-speaking internship or volunteer program in Paris next summer.

I am interested in theatre, photography and animals, with the most experience in theatre. I don't need to be paid, but wouldn't complain. I am not especially religious. I am mostly looking for something that will help me meet other people while over there, while also just being a good experience.

I am in the process of learning French, but I wouldn't say that I know enough to be comfortable speaking it to a native speaker yet. I will be going with a friend who is fluent and we will be staying 2-3 months.

Also, any tips for the American in Paris are very welcome!

You might have success looking for volunteer positions rather than internships, because I believe the French definition of an internship (un stage) is different from the American one. Here's a link to a volunteer site.

Check out Fusac for employment opportunities, housing, whatever in Paris. It's a great resource while you're there for finding english-speaking stuff.
