What to do with all these posters?

Got myself a bunch of posters from the San Diego Comicon and realised only too late that I really don't have the space for them.

My room is much too small to host all of the posters once framed. Actually, I only intend to frame just the one and even that will take up an entire wall.

The smaller posters I was able to stick into my scrapbook dealie, but aside from framing, how could I display the bigger posters? I wish I could place them elsewhere around the house, but I've been overruled by the rest of the family. And it seems a shame to leave the posters all rolled up in a corner.

Any ideas? Ideally I'd love to keep them intact, but I wouldn't say no to cutting them up for some fun weekend project. Thanks in advance!

There is always the ceiling, that great overlooked blank canvas.

I've had both of these sweet projects bookmarked and filed away as to do sometime soon: decoupaged comic coffee table and decoupaged comic bureau, if you wouldn't be adverse to cutting up a couple of the posters. That way you could see them every day but they wouldn't be taking up wall space. Do you have any scans or links to the posters? I would love to see them.

I forgot to mention making a decoupage bag, using a cigar box or an old vinyl messenger tote or something similar.

You could frame them all and lean them against the wall in a pile, as sort of a giant vertical file arrangement. A friend of mine who collects early 20th century print advertising does this and it's a lot of fun to flip through his collection. It also allows him to easily rotate what's on the wall on a regular basis.

For my son's collection of anatomy posters, I laminated* them all (teacher/school supply stores usually have inexpensive poster-sized lamination services) and installed a pair of ring grommets at the top edge. Several layers of them are hung against the wall on a pair of L hooks, others are hung vertically from the ceiling via fishing line + hooks. The advantage is the posters can still be rolled up for storage as well as easily handled and it's a lot cheaper than framing, however, lamination will completely kill the resale/collectors' value of your posters. Not for archival purposes.

You could decoupage one to a window shade. Or to blinds, so that you can see the picture when you close them. Both of these options, of course, will render the poster useless for any other purpose.

They might be fun to wrap presents with.

Thanks for the great ideas! I like the thought of my mother having her garden tea party on a decoupage table with Phoenix Wright objecting to the poor lady who puts milk before pouring tea :P (Sorry iconomy, no photos as my camera is on the fritz.)
As the posters are just great eye-candy and not collectors items, I'm definitely going with the laminating option.
