Kids in New York

What resources do you use to find things to do with your kids in New York City?
I already know about TimeOutKids, but was hoping for some more sources. My daughter is four and we already haunt the Met and the Museum of Natural History.

Also, New York Public Library calendar of events, New York City Event Calendars, NYC Street Fair Calendar, Central Park Calendar.
I compiled this list based upon the information that Chicago provides in a similar context.

If you don't have a Not For Tourists guide (which you should as it's awesome) check out these three pages entitled "For the Kids" (pdf) Here's the whole guidebook.

Also, all major theaters/performance companies offer listings for children. Check out the Lincoln center and the BAM programs --hard to get tix too, but very worthwhile. In the summer there are open-air events in every park and garden.
There is also something called "Family Entertainment Guide", a little booklet issued every 2 months, which you pick up at bookstores/libraries or pediatricians' offices.
Most churches have free concerts midweek where even young children are welcome.
Many bookstores have story reading and other free activities. Bank Street Bookstore is very well known and attended.
