Do you know when CrateandBarrel runs furniture sales?

When does CrateandBarrel typically have its furniture on sale? There are a few big items I'd like to get, but can wait if they typically run furniture sales in August or September.

Um, call Crate and Barrel and ask them if and when the pieces you want will be on sale.

I dunno, but if you are in MA, there will be a tax free weekend in August. save 5% automatically.

My wife and I bought a nice couch from them in 2004 when it was on sale -- that was in the late spring/early summer (possibly May).

They have an upholstery sale in September, I think, if you want something upholstered, like a couch. They do have a big annual sale. I would try calling them.

We saw furniture sold at Crate and Barrel at Four Hands for less than half the price. Depends on for what you are looking.

Early Fall is a tradition sale time for furniture I think, but I agree with jeff-o-matic; the easiest way to find out when they have their best sale of the year is to ask them.

Also, look for an outlet. Sometimes, you can place pieces you want on a wishlist and get 'em dirt cheap.

The only time I'm generally aware of furniture on sale at C&B is when they're about to change "seasons" and starting to phase something out. I think the best sale prices I've seen there, like so many other places, are the last week of December through the first weeks of January.
