Quebec: Where to stay and eat in the Laurentians? I used to go to St. Sauveur in the 60s and want to return there over Labor Day. Looking for lovely hotels and places to eat and things to do in any town in the Laurentians. Thanks.

It has changed a lot in 40 years. Can be very crowded and loud and nouveau riche.

For the absolute best food in the region check out Hôtel & Spa L’Eau à la Bouche in Sainte-Adèle.

As amusem said, you won't find any hippies there anymore, except in Val-David.
