Looking for data on internet usage and demographics

Where can I find research similar to that which is provided by Pew Internet & the American Life Project?

I've found some truly exceptional data on the Pew site, but I'd love some more free information, if available. I've found other academic journals and what not, but they're ordinarily behind a paywall.

The Information Use Management & Policy Institute has some good reports about public library internet use and access as well as a host of other technology issues.

I think the main academic organization is AoIR. Check out their conferences and papers. Not sure if it's free though.
