Help me get GPS data from New York City!

GPS Data for NYC? Could someone do me a favor?
I'm not sure if this is entirely kosher on AskMe, but I thought it wouldn't hurt, as it's a pretty harmless request.
I'm trying to work on a project (for myself) related to GPS, but I don't have a GPS device yet, and I won't get it for the next few weeks or so. I need some GPS location data -- specifically, the raw NMEA data -- within the NYC Metro area (the 5 boroughs) that spans a decent amount of distance, say, more than 50 blocks or so. It doesn't matter if the GPS data is disconnected because the device went underground into the subway, for example, if there are a bunch of data points in Brooklyn and then in Manhattan and nothing inbetween -- in fact, that's perfect. All I need is a bunch of data points, perhaps about an hour's worth, that spans a decent length of distance. It would require someone turning on their GPS device, walking to the subway, going into the city, walking a bit more, then turning off the device.
It would be great if someone could do this for me. Pleease?
(I thought about making the title of the question 'Where can I get some sample GPS data for NYC?' and being all nonchalant and innocent. Mostly because I knew that if I did that, Metafilter being the kickass place that it is, some kind MeFites would come along and say "Don't worry -- I'll do it for you myself!" after which I would thank them profusely as if I would not have expected anything like that in the first place no no oh my took me by surprise oh thank you. Then I thought about that and worried that it would be too manipulative, because most of the magic of AskMe comes when it's completely unexpected and such connections aren't even thought of. I didn't want to post a question that seemed like it was so obviously fishing for help while not pretending to, so I decided that it would feel much better coming clean and admitting my request outright. But even as I'm saying this I'm worrying that this pseudo-aware breaking-the-fourth-wall tactic is done so that I can explain this all to you guys and free myself from blame, that this is also a weasely tactic designed to make this question feel genuine. And now I'm even talking about breaking the fourth wall, which is like meta meta, oh, man, duuude...)
