Cable TV Movie filter

Been searching for an application that will alert me on new movies and other content premiering on my local cable provider (Cox cable). Would love to see a weekly email with personalized listings so that I could peruse and schedule interesting movies and other programs to be recorded.
Any ideas?

I haven't found anything that would send a personalized TV listing weekly email. Some TV websites do offer to send an email reminder for a future show/movie. I find these reminders unreliable and a possible source of spam.

I've bookmarked my favorite TV channels schedule websites and I download/save a copy of a monthly schedule. I check these schedules on a weekly basis and set my DVR to record the shows/movies.

One of the best personalized TV listing websites is Couchville. You can click on the tiny calendar on the top left corner and select/display a future TV schedule.
