Are there any free services that will monitor a website of your choice, and tell you when it changes?

The Firefox browser can periodically check links that you bookmark and notify you in a variety of ways if the page is updated. IIRC, IE can do this as well.

This has been a Netscape-family feature for something like a decade now. Doesn't anybody remember "What's New" in the bookmark editor?

OmniWeb checks your bookmarks for updates too, IIRC.
