OCR with original copy alongside

I need OCR software which will scan a page of a book and then produce an output which has the image of the scanned page on one side and the scanned text on the other. So: side A = perfect copy of the original page; side B = the text as processed by the OCR software. Does such a thing exist?

Don't they all work like that? That was the standard interface when I used Omnipage extensively over ten years ago. Assuming it's not the default/standard, then Omnipage used to do this very well...

Talk to someone at Distributed Proofreaders? Their software works that way.
