What famous burial sites would I find near Yankton , SD?

Best answer: According to FindAGrave.com, you can find the burial places of 7 US congressmen, 2 Civil War heroes, and 1 "Western Folk Figure."

Best answer: Well, you could go to my home town of Wagner, SD. That's less than 50 miles from Yankton. There you could see the grave of my father and several generations of my family.

They're not famous, but it sure would set you up in my eyes.

If you've got any Laura Ingalls Wilder fans in your group, it could be worth the drive to De Smet, with the graves of Ma and Pa Ingalls.

Well living in Vermillion SD, I would definitely check out the Bon Joey shrine erected by the serfs of that area in recognition of valiant efforts in the area of philandering philanthropy. The statue is beautiful and hand crafted out pure adamantium. The site is not just a statue but also a mosoliem for those who died creating the magnificent figure. Inscribed on the Stalinesque statue is the phrase "A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man"
