Question: Is there a decent wireless USB hub on the market?

Is there a decent wireless USB hub on the market?

I'm looking to wirelessly hook up peripherals (printer, scanner, and external HD). I'm not terribly concerned with transfer rate on the HD, as I have two wired firewire HDs as well, and I don't use the USB one for large file transfers.

The Belken F5U301 looks like it would be a great product, but every review I have read indicates that it has some serious issues. Are there any similar wireless USB 2.0 hubs w/ dongles on the market that are more trustworthy? Any plans for any?

I'm on a Mac G4 running OS 10.4.9

Usually I frown on answering a "does there exist" question with "no", preferring to let silence answer the question, but I can definitively state that no, there does not yet exist a product of this sort that actually performs to any reasonable standard of quality.

Give it another year and we'll probably start seeing some - another two-three and they'll support OS X.

if i understand what you're looking for:
I've had good luck with the "airdash" wrub-2011i, by ashton digital.
see link below for good reviews on amazon for the wrub-2011 (no "i") model. the link below is for a "twin pack" but you can find it as a single as well. Try ebay for that.

linky

Sorry, I hadn't realized that WUSB was an UWB standard. I thought it was a proprietary slower USB.
