Call the DGA (Director's Guild of America) at (800) 421-4173 first. If that fails, write to Jon Mulvaney at Criterion. His email address is his last name at criterion.com.

He apparently was (and maybe still is) an artist in residence at the new school. Since this was pretty recent you might just try contacting the department he was working in and see if they could pass the message along.

Floydd - I think IMDB is wrong. This biography of the Peter Davis you mentioned does not come close to matching this biography of the Peter Davis that the submitter was definitely looking for. Weird.

I thought that was too easy....

I tried to contact him a few years ago and ended up speaking to his wife. His wife writes for a paper in new england (which I was able to find through google), he was just at the New School, and he occasionally writes for the Nation. Try all three directions and leave a message with your contact info and the reason you want to contact him.

p.s. to other people, if you haven't seen Hearts and Minds, it is one of the best films of all time. Mandatory Viewing.
