Mefites running thai cooking blogs, please report.

Please help me find a thai cooking blog belonging to an unknown mefi user.

Many months ago I was reading an ask.mefi post that had something to do with cooking but not necessarily thai cooking. Someone posted a response that included a link to their blog. It is not the Shiok blog belonging to madman. The user is not an actual chef, just a guy who got obsessed with thai cooking and started documenting his experiments & recipes. I failed to bookmark it and now really wish I had.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Probably should go in Metatalk.

So, to be clear, not this fella/blog.

Response by poster: Cortex, it is definitely not madman, though he's got great stuff there and I plan to make his Tom Kha Gai in the near future. It is definitely an individual who does not cook for a living. Wish I had more details. My hope is that he'll actually see this post and reply.

Could it be be in the I've Got a Fever and the Only Prescription is More Food Blogs thread, which is very yummy?
I think this belongs in MetaChat.

I mean MetaTalk. Talking, chatting....is all alike.

Response by poster: Sorry if this belongs in metatalk, I almost posted it there then changed my mind. For what its worth, I spent a lot of time searching for the post & link before posting. I even read the metafilter FAQ to see if one addressed the issue of "where should I post a question asking help finding an old post?" but found no guidance.

It's a pretty fine line for this sort of thing. In retrospect, it probably is better put in Metatalk, so I'll nuke this and you can repost there if you like.
