Where to find those Chinese Mary Janes?

Where in NoVA/Metro DC can I buy those cheap Asian-style Mary Jane shoes that used to be so easy to find?

They used to come in a bunch of different colors (though simple black was the most common) and were seriously, like $5 a pop. They were comfortable and simple, though not necessarily rugged -- a year of wearing them to work every day would probably destroy them. I used to find them at Georgetown Cotton (which doesn't seem to exist anymore) and at random dollar stores (never consistently, and never the same one).

Pretty much these, just black and cotton. I'd like to buy them around here, if possible. I'll buy online if this is a wild goose chase, though. Has anyone seen any at their local dollar store lately? Or anywhere?

Chinatown. Head north on 7th (away from the Verizon Center) from the 7th and H exit of the Gallery Place/ Chinatown metro station (the one at the Friendship arch). On the right side, past the CVS and across from RFD bar/restaurant there is at least one shop that sells all sorts of cheap Chinese crap, including the shoes you desire.

Such an obvious solution, and it never even occurred to me. Thanks Pollomacho! Feel free to keep suggestions coming, if you have any, but that should pretty much do it.

Urban Outfitters carries them, but they're $10 a pair. There's one in Georgetown and one at Gallery Place. They carry a few different colors/patterns.

Oh, wow, I used to wear those all the time. Guess I'm off to Kensington this weekend!
