Romantic get-away Seattle area

My girlfriend lives in Tacoma, WA; I live in Oregon. Looking for a romantic get-away this weekend on the ocean, with a view, or ????

I'm looking for a romantic place on the Washington coast, OR a romantic place in the San Juan Islands (I once saw a really nice place that was on top of hill/mountain on one of the San Juan Islands but can't locate it...any ideas?), or any other suggestions within driving/flying of Tacoma-Seattle area. Thank you for your help! I'm from Oregon and not that familiar with WA, etc.

There's a hotel on Orca's Island that me and the mrs. went to years ago. You can rent kayaks, rent bikes, go to art galleries or just enjoy an ice cream cone with your loved one.

The Willcox House 1/2 hr from Bremerton but 1936 when you're there. Right on Hood Canal. Art deco elegance, a great room, pool room, wine & cheese before dinner, a media room with big screen tv for watching videos and dvds. Clark Gable stayed there. A wonderful time warp.

Astoria? Orcas Island would be ideal for her, but a bit of a haul for you. Bainbridge Island, but that might be too close. Also, this time of year, Rainier is a good choice.. its not the ocean, but its pretty remote.

How about Smugglers Cove on Orcas Island, I stayed here last year for a wedding. Nice little villas, very peaceful - with a beautiful fire pit area for late night chilling.

Pictures of Mount Constitution views over here. Only a 20 minute drive from Smugglers Villa.

Ooohhh...The Highland Inn in Friday Harbor is fantastic. I dream of the day when I get to go back there. You can sit on the deck and watch the orcas in the channel, and Helen makes the best pumpkin muffins.
