"Dinosaurs" show

Does anyone remember the last episode of that old ABC show Dinosaurs (you know, with the puppets?) Something just triggered some strange memory of the last episode and I seem to remember all the characters kicking the bucket (even the baby). Is that what happened? Is there a detailed synopsis of this episode somewhere on the web? Tvtome doesnt have it to much detail. It was called "Changing Nature," i believe.

Fromt the IMDB "Dinosaurs" message board (linked above by parrots)

Its true. After all the plants died, they thought if they could get clouds, it would rain and bring back plants. They tried to do this by setting off bombs in all the volcanos, so that they would make clouds of ash.Obviously this didnt create rain, and ended up blocking out the sun. I think the last words were the TV newsman saying "God help us all" or something to that effect. I get chills just thinking about that episode

How depressing is THAT!!

Response by poster: that is just so eerie. I kinda wish all shows would end like that. (Ross and Rachel get bullets in the head in the last episode of Friends, etc.)

soundofsuburbia: If it's any consolation, *I'm* scarred and I've never even that ep (or show). I kind of wish I had, though.

If the cast of Friends had been shot in the head in the last episode even I would have watched it.

I definitely remember the last moments of the episode being a commercial on TV saying "It's the end.... of high prices! With our 'Going out of Existance Sale!"

And the bitter climax of DNN tv newsman Howard Handupme (?) saying "Goodnight.......... Goodbye."

That show was great, the episode about Earl taking over ABC (Antediluvian Broadcasting Company) was my favorite. He decided he liked the test patterns more than the shows, so the network become all test patterns. Then he felt stupid, so he made all the shows smart. Then everyone starting reading books instead, so the network made a book about TV. TV Guide was born. The satire on that episode was some of the best about television I have ever seen.

It really compared to Simpsons, no one gave it a chance because everyone thought it was all about the baby (like how all early episodes of Simpsons were about Bart), when Earl and the other characters were the source of most of the humor.

See, THAT'S how you end a show! Someone should make a list of shows and how they ended.

From Bob wakes up to Anya gets sliced in half. Oh yeah.
