Chairfilter: Does anyone have positive or negative experiences with the Stance computer chair? Are there cheaper alternatives with similar functionality (i.e. a partially standing reclined position)?

I used to use one of these. (Not that brand, but that concept.) They are actually quite comfortable.

The ones you linked to look horrible to me.

Do you have a way to lift your keyboard/mouse/monitor up with the chair? Anthro makes some desks that do this, I've had one for a few months and recommend them.

I've used kneelers, like Steven C. Den Beste linked to above.

My knees were unhappy, as was my lower back. YMMV; my husband was quite happy in one.
